As long as they don't grow lima beans, I've got no problem with it.

I still fail to see why this is even an issue. The kids want a garden. No harm no foul.

Even if the Obama's aren't out in their overalls pulling weeds, having a garden at the White House sets a wonderful example. Everyone with a yard should be growing some vegetables. It's a healthy hobby and teaches kids where food comes from.

That picture makes me sick. They should have a few kids from each group. Not just the Black kids.
What is the purpose of your post?

Kids come in all colors, but they usually don't make that a primary distinction unless someone points it out to them. You see black and white kids, they see just plain kids and potential playmates.

Children are not born knowing how to hate. They have to be taught.

Uh, MY Messiah? When did I ever say that? So it's OK for you to call someone a vegetable? No wonder I'm not a Republican!

There is a bit of a difference. ELO made fun of people capable of defending themselves and he is a nobody not the president. Its a big difference but I agree with you it was a bit tacky.

Is this thread for real?? Seriously you people, and you know exactly who you are, are beyond insane, crazy, deluded, sad, pathetic, bored, whatever. I can't even believe that I wasted my time reading some of these posts. I've had it w/you. If you're going to post something, could you perhaps use your brain & post something of substance? You are actually ANGRY that there were black kids in that photo? You're actually making fun of what Michelle was wearing & the fact that she didn't handle gardening equipment to your standards? Let me tell you something, you people need to just shut out the noise & think, maybe take a couple hours & really think about what your problem is exactly. Are you annoyed that the White House is getting a garden? Are envious that you're not in the spotlight? Do you feel bad that you maybe look down on others around you? I'm serious, it's about time that you start focusing on issues that matter because to do otherwise just makes you look mentally deficient.
