He is in WAY over his head. Totally inappropriate to be laughing, it must have been even more uncomfortable for Kroft who had to ask him if he was punch-drunk.

Why is there such difficulty finding existing threads on the same topic?
There's a simple solution. Don't open them.

In all seriousness, the search feature on this board isn't always the best.

I am glad Kroft did it. It was much like a teacher having to discipline a student for laughing in class. Shows the severe lack of maturity in Obama.

Obama belongs in Hollywood with the rest of the superficial, narcissists. He's made more television appearances in his first 60 days than many stars do. I didn't watch the 60 minutes thing and I won't watch his ramblings tomorrow.

I watched 60 Minutes, and whenever I saw Obama smile and laugh, I saw him as a man with "total confidence", who could remain cool, calm and collected, even while facing the extremely difficult challenges he now has as president.

That kind of confidence is highly inspiring!

It shows the kind of man Obama is, and makes me even happier than ever that he was elected our president!

I would ask you, what sort of man would you want as president if America ever faced a potential nuclear confrontation ?

Someone who looks frightened and scared when faced with the ultimate decisions a president could ever have to face?

I know I would want someone exactly like Obama!

Stuart Smalley and his daily affirmation?

"Gosh darn it, Obama is the kind of president we need."

Spot on, I really enjoyed it when he forcefully responded to DICK cheney's attacks...He was calm, reserved yet very direct in dissecting Dick's case. I loved that...As regards the laughing, I have no problem w/it....Did anyone see the DOW today.....Nice to have a smart guy back in the WH isn't it?!

I don't think people who are losing their retirement "to the daily whims of the stockmarket", you know, much like a political poll, or those who are hurting gain confidence in someone laughing or being light-hearted about this situation. Shrugging off the financial situtation as if he were swatting flies DOESN'T show confidence. Interesting how he only gets serious when he wants to push through his piece of shiate agendas and bills. After they get through and we spend the money, the monarch is off laughing at the paupers. It shows a total disconnect with the average American.
