There are some R's that are positive that the New Deal (since repealed by Reagan and others) caused the Depression to last longer than an unrestricted speculative market would have done.

It is not the size of government but what it does with the money. The previous administration, and unfortunately so far, the current administration, is wasting our substance on overseas empire instead of investing it here.

It is the size of Government that leads to wasteful spending.

And when you trust a larger Government to use taxpayer money wisely .... you lose.

You've got to come to terms with political liars and tax cheats.

Big government is not the answer. It is time for government to step out of the way of what would otherwise be self determined people.

Government is a consumer of wealth..while private industry is a creator of wealth..this is why it doesn't work out too well..except for the politicians of course..

In my case I trust government far more than I trust any private sector business. The government does not get an incentive bonus for cheating me; salesmen do.

Well you are being scammed on two fronts.

First by New Hampshire salesmen, and secondly by the government that you trust with your tax money.

You've been made a fool of twice.

Hey Mrboob. Why do you think President Bush had historically low poll ratings? Because people liked him? Yes, you genius, people objected to what he was doing. Following the same path but making it worse is not a winning solution.

Why do President Obama supporters consistently bring up President Bush as a comparison?
