No.

What did you mean by your following statement?

"This airhead apparently believed his flowing, flowery rhetoric - we have a lot of airheads in this country, who should not be allowed to cast a vote."

Are you volunteering for the job of determining who is an "airhead" and who is not, who should be able to vote and who should not be able to vote?

Actually, that's the reason for the electoral vote. And no, I'm not saying it was for the black vote, it was for the unintelligent.

"Flowing, flowery rhetoric?" Obama is a good speaker, but he can't hold a candle to either JFK, RFK or
Dr. King. All three peppered their speeches with quotes from literature ( Shakespeare, for one) and the
Roman and Greek classics. The night that Dr. King was murdered, RFK spoke to a largely black crowd in
Indianapolis; he spoke extemporaneously and quoted Aeschylus from memory. Those men were great orators; Obama is an inspirational and thoughtful speaker.

Speaking of airheads (and I have NO idea how she voted)....

Sad (and brief) conversation I had today with a gal in her mid-late 20's concerning the tax protest:

She asked "No more stimulus?"
I told her we were protesting increased govt spending. I also showed her a copy of the graph at Projected Deficit - washingtonpost.com which shows the Projected Defict projections by the WH and the CBO.
I said "How are we going to pay for that?"

Her reply, I swear this is true and she was completely serious, her reply....
"The government will pay for it"

She evidently had no clue that the government gets it's money to pay for things from the taxpayers.
