Al Franken has won the election. Our vote has spoken. Our state is suffering from this loss of representation. Gov. Pawlenty will not certify Franken due to political party games.
Please write Gov. Pawlenty and tell him, "enough is enough. We want full representation for MN."
My understanding is this is not executive mater, but judicial. The Gov is not empowered to choose a winner. Amy should shut her pie hole if all she can do is whine. That won't help sort it out either. Better to get it right, than hand the seat to Al or Norm. Bummer that it takes so long though.
Couldn't there have been ANY better choice between Coleman and Franken? Coleman couldn't beat Jesse Ventura in the Gov Race and now couldn't beat Al Franken for a Senate seat. Enough already. How hard is it to count? Didn't anyone learn how in school???

First, don’t you think that was a highly disparaging remark about a Senator who is doing everything she can for her constituents here in MN?
Second, Pawlenty can certify Frankin as Senator anytime. Failure to do so will probably cost him his career as Governor this next election.

Its about coleman is going to waste as much taxpayer money as he can because he is pissed he got beat by a COMEDIAN..JUST like he got beat by a Wrestler.
Plus when seated frankin gives us that magic filibuster proof senate AND THE REPUBS ARE not willing to let that happen.

All I am saying is there is a clearly defined protocol. Mr. Coleman is not likely to come out on top, but the law clearly states that the appeal process is to be completed before a winner is certified. It matters not what Mr. President or the other senator has to say about it. Ironic that they say Pawlenty is being partisan when they are clearly pushing for circumvention. I would feel the same way if the totals were swapped. Let it play itself out, and then fix the problems with counting the votes so it does not happen again.
A change in political climate is likely to cost Pawlenty the next election.
