What does he stand for, besides being tough on illegal immigration?

Although he's a member of the Republican Party, 90% of his views are basically Libertarian.

His strong point is that he stands firm on his principles. Though I don't agree with him 100%, at least you know where he stands and what you're getting. As Mark S stated, he's really a Libertarian. He believes in minimal government and individual freedom and responsibility.

Sounds like my kind of guy. I wonder how much he's been corrupted, though. I have a hard time believing any politicians, these days.

I couldn't speak to that because I don't know him personally. All I know is that he votes his conscience and sticks to his principles on his votes.

I seen one show of him on the news and went directly to his website. I agreed with everything that he said. But im really skeptical of him being anywhere near where Bush is from. It makes me think Texas might have some networked boys down there trying to help out their guys. But from what I read on him he is my presidential candidate. I dont think the media will even give him a thought though. They're to busy movietising the "main" candidates. I will not vote for any of the other candidates that the media keeps pumping up. I probably wont even vote yet again.

Ron Paul, unlike George Bush, is actually from Texas. Georege Bush is about as Texan as George Washington.

I think Ron Paul WAS an Independent at one time, but he is a Republican now.

Here is some information on Ron Paul. He is a GOOD man, and so is Tom Tancredo, a fellow republican. Either would make an excellent President.

The Republican party wouldn't accept fully half of thier program - aside from that it's a great idea.

How do democrats feel about Ron Paul? I would like to hear some democratic opinions on him. I know the media isnt going to give anyone but Clinton, Edwards, Obama, McCain, and Giuliana any of ther time. I wont be voting for any of those people so ill probably abstain fom voting once again.
