He gave his first interview as President to Al-Arabia, not CNN, NBC, CBS, or Fox.

His Indonesian school registration list his religion as muslim.

He
bows to an Arab King.

He stated that America is not a Christian Nation.

Aljazeera (http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/04/aljazeera-reports-that-obama-is-muslim.html - broken link) reports that Obama is muslim, when Obama said 'I know because I am one of them'.

Now this;
"Georgetown Says It Covered Over Name of Jesus to Comply With White House Request"
Here is another take on this showing him honoring the religious customs when entering a Mosque but, the name Jesus had to be covered at Georgetown.

He claims to be a Christian but, I do not think a Christian would do any of these things.
..

Washington was a diest, not a Christian.
The only sucessful attempt at theocracy in N. Am. was Utah under Bringham Young.
Then they found out what happens when a theocracy tries to enter a democracy.

As far as Mr. Obama and his religion:
Nobody Cares, except the people who'd never vote for him anyway.

>snip< the United States Departments of State and Homeland Security in an answer to FOIA lawsuit Strunk v. U. S. Department of State denied essentially all of the birther allegations against President Obama’s eligibility! Here are excerpts from the document filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia today:
Here is just one of the excerpts from the case(pdf is the link in the above quote) which pertains to this thread:

To the extent this paragraph alleges that President Obama is or ever was a practicing Muslim, that allegation is denied.

To the extent this paragraph alleges that President Obama is or ever was a practicing Muslim, that allegation is denied.

So, considering the careful way they parse words, makes one wonder...maybe he's a non-practicing Muslim, or at the very least his sympathies lie with Islam, perhaps more than other religions.(ideally, he ought to be non-biased).

So it's not OK for him to be a Christian, either?

We got our dog from a friend who is a Muslim. He's a lap dog. I wonder how that happened?

Obama isn't a Muslim any more. He may have been but it's against Islam to promote abortion and homosexuality and Obama is a rabid pro-abortionist. Muslims are against USA money being used to build abortion clinics like convenience stores all over the planet but Obama is all for that.

Plus Muslims can't go near dogs, Mohammed taught that dogs are the devil.

You're clearly reaching like crazy, and-or not familiar with legal replies.
The DOS response doesn't "parse" anything:
-- "To the extent ..." is standard legal format. It's done to cover the bases and avoid having to repeat every allegation in its entirety.
-- Also standard: You don't write a novel. You address exactly what's been alleged, period.
If the allegation is, "Joe has three heads," the reply is, "To the extent this paragraph alleges that Joe has three heads, that allegation is denied."
It's _not_: "To the extent this paragraph alleges that Joe has three heads -- or at least more than one and fewer than 3.000001; or maybe that he has two _shrunken_ heads in a drawer at home, plus a functional personal head on his neck; and depending on how you define 'three' and 'heads' -- that allegation is denied."

You're right about the last statement. Most people probably voted for him because he is black, or because he's not a republican or for both reasons.
