Fidel Castro: Obama 'misinterpreted' Raul's words

HAVANA – Fidel Castro says President Barack Obama "misinterpreted" his brother Raul's remarks regarding the United States and bristled at the suggestion that Cuba should free political prisoners or cut taxes on dollars people send to the island.

Even after he grovels at the feet of the world dictators they make him look stupid. His only hope is that he outlives Fidel. Maybe then he can grovel one more time at Raul's feet and get better results.

there won't be many responses to this because it is hard for democrats to admit that their candidate was a bad choice, even as it was hard for republicans to admit that their candidate was a bad choice.

what this country needs is a 3rd party to lead us out of the disaster that our 2 party system has become. social issues should be left up to the individual states and we need our country run on a fiscally responsible level.

Look,

The United States has sat on this Cuban crap for over 40 years. It goes through the courts time and time again.

If Cubans are so important in the hearts of Americans, why don't we just kill the Castros? Liberate the island? Allow them to elect their own leader?

What would we have to fear? The rest of the world's outcry that we freed a group of people who had no human or economic rights?

Chavez can kiss our a*s and Russia could hardly care about Cuba. Remember, Russia is no longer a communist country.

Stop all this tippy toeing around Fidel. God, I would hope that even left wingers would understand this.

NKorea says it has restarted nuclear facilities

SEOUL, South Korea – North Korea has restarted its nuclear facilities to harvest weapons-grade plutonium, an official said Saturday, in an escalation of the communist state's standoff with the international community over its nuclear and missile programs.
The announcement came hours after a U.N. Security Council committee approved new sanctions on three major North Korean companies in response to Pyongyang's April 5 rocket launch.

Preparing fresh weapons grade Plutonium is a very tricky and difficult process. I just wonder if any "accidents" have been arranged. After all what is the Chinese spy service for?

It was really nice of "that guy" to go on his own personal globe trotting trip to expose his naiveté to the rest of the world.

What a doofus!

Head doofus. If the left had any morals they would be asking for his head on a platter.
