By the way, this thread is supposed to be about Barack not being left enough. Many extreme liberals are angry about not getting the bang for their buck.

Flaming liberals think that this administration owes them something. When Obama looks and acts like Bush, I applaud him. I think it's the libs who are bitter. As usual.

I'm not sure if he is what one would call a moderate but he definitely was no liberal by traditional standards, like Dennis Kucinich or even John Edwards.

Compared to many aspects of the last 7 of the Bush years, even Hillary Clinton seemed like a conservative, so to find a moderate wasn't hard.

Is anyone on the left getting angry about broken promises? Any thoughts?

Is anyone on the left getting angry about broken promises? Any thoughts?

Couple of indicators:

First, look at the date of the Politico piece (Dec 08); Since then Mr. Obama has made clear his allegiance to the money over the people.

Secondly, one of the listed "promises kept" in another post in this thread, is that he DID get his girls their puppy.

Good for him. Meanwhile, he's thrown about 5,000 other little girls and boys parents out of work, and thus out of the Middle Class.

Obama and his corporate advisors (Rubin, Emanuel, Summers) are "banking" (pun intended) on the Progressives and Labor just staying quite as he pi**es on them, much as Bill Clinton was able to do back in the 90's.

But they are forgetting that depressions can do funny things. They make people desperate.

Just like the Whigs who, upon disintegration, transferred their monied interests to first the Democrats, before they ultimately wound-up post-Civil War in the Republican Power, so can the interests of the average worker have a similiar journey.

No, they won't migrate to the GOP- it's now a regional party composed of white guys below the Mason-Dixon- but remember in the earlier scenario, the GOP was a single-issue, 3rd party, which took-off because it represented something to the average person in the North.

Perhaps some new- or newer- 3rd party will repeat that role.

Every freedom loving American should be very concerned about Obama. He and his cronies
are on the way to restricting free speech, doing away with a free market society, limiting the availability and quality of healthcare, risking the safety of the country and undermining the Constitution in an unprecedented grab for power.

His possible nomination of people such as Cass Sunstein and Harold Koh would put the laws of the land, our land, into the hands of the United Nations and foreign courts would determine how our laws would be interpreted.

The Fairness Doctrine and the Hate Crimes Act don't have anything to do with fairness and only incite more hatred.

His blind support of unions would cripple all businesses and virtually do away with small business.

What exactly will we have left when he's done - one huge welfare state with everyone beholden to the government for every aspect of our lives.

Wake up America!!! This socialist, elitist, apologist must be stopped!! The individual states must exercise the rights given to them under the Constitution before it is too late.

I really hate to think of how much destruction he can accomplish in the next three years if
allowed to go unchecked.

I think Barry wants to be remember as a great president who won two landslides, and you can do that with Center Left policies not Far Left policies. Basically he wants to be a Bill Clinton without the stained dress

His brilliant subterfuge is posing as a "moderate". But behind the scenes his thug cronies are undermining the country and setting up a socialist state. These elitists can't stand to be left behind in the global jihad of obtaining a one-world government under UN control. His "stain" will be much more far-reaching and disastrous than anything Bill left behind.

I think you have your facts screwed up.
If you are talking the economy, the it rolling along very well until Nancy & Co took over in 2007. Look at the numbers.
Obama wont fix anything, he does not have the skills or not brains to fix anything. How can one fix something if he lives in a tunnel like Obama does.

Funny to hear libs talk. When Bush took over in 2001 anything that happened the first week you people were all over him. A year later same ole liberal thing of attacking. Then when reps mentioned give him time you all said no he is running the show and should have had it fixed already.
Now it is different.

Then when the rep blamed Clinton for anything after Bush took office the libs excuse what Clinton is in the past and had nothing to do with it.

Now the shoe is on the other foot it is different.

Typical liberals, two faced and what was good for me is not good for you mentality.

Obama has done more to destroy what America is all about in 110 days then Bush did in 8 years.

Bowing and sucking up to a Saudi Prince is just the start. What a moron to bow down to a prince when he is suppose to be the most powerful man in the world. Maybe he lacks confidence in himself or feels he is a lower life then a prince. Maybe that is it.

Give him time. The ammo will be handed to us almost daily with this idiot.

4 years from now you robots will still be blaming Bush.

Everything you said is right on target. The Obama administration is unfolding right along the lines that I expected and, yes, he IS destroying the America anyone over 40 grew up in. We are fast becoming a socialist country. Even voices from across the oceans have been begging us to not allow this to happen.

The kicker for me was not just the bowing to the Muslim king of Saudi Arabia but the blatant lie of Obama's explanation that "he was just bending over to shake hands with a shorter dignitary". Like.....does he really expect anyone with half a brain to swallow that???

I don't see Democrats doing anything but spending taxpayer money on dung that doesn't matter.
What are the democrats best at?

Lying/Deceit and stealing other peoples money via taxation

Sure they are going to tax us to death.

Stupid Barry is telling college kids we need you to step up. What stupid Barry does not realize is these kids wont find jobs in his 4 years to do anything to step up with. If they are lucky enough to land a job stupid Barry wants 40% of their earnings from day one.
He is already in the negative for jobs and getting worse.

Thank you. The libs are still saying he did not bow.

We all know he did.

What an embarrassment he is.
