When most Americans are happy with their healthcare, and an issue like pre-existing conditions account for 4% of those in the picture, Barack wants to change the whole system ( at the expense of the taxpayer ). In other words, 96% of insured Americans would have to alter their present security for the sake of those aforementioned and 10 million illegal aliens.

Democrats in Washington would be smart to take illegal aliens out of the picture. But they are not smart enough to do that.

The people are getting itchy, and down home America is finally speaking up.

I expect to get bashed by the coastal ( Democratic ) cities. Call on taxpayers to lift everyone out of chaos.

Democrats who voted for Barack are wrapped up in the biggest scandal this country has ever seen.

To actually have voted for ... and still stick by "The Plan" to change America into a Euro-Socialistic society, is dumb.

Secular progressives are out of their minds when they exaggerate the idea that spending more and more taxpayer money is the way to dig ourselves out of a hole.

Everyone knows what comes next -- taxes on the middle class.

Democrats praise anything that digs into someone's pocket. It is time for even Democrats to realize that eventually the money runs out.

The "Free Lunch" party has to stop spending our tax money on crap that doesn't matter.

Middle America has to stand up ---- otherwise the folks on the coasts will drain us all ( financially ).

If given the chance ---- they will also drain us of our freedom.

You can state nothing that Obama has done to make your life harder or worse in any way. Go ahead and try.
First, all I've seen so far are plans that have either failed or will fail. Proof of this is the b.s. "cash for clunkers" program. That has shafted the tax payer every way imaginable. First, the program only benefits the auto manufacturer by boosting sales. It hurts the taxpayers because the program is just wasting away money again by bailing out the auto industry. It also hurts the people who buy the cars under this program. For one, you will have people who quite possibly had their "nice" car re-po'ed because they couldn't afford it before and now this "great deal" comes along and they all of a sudden have the urge to take advantage of this "great deal" and get back into payments they shouldn't have. Most of the dealerships that are participating in this program are not allowing any price negotiations and all incentives and rebates go to the dealer. Essentially the people participating in this program are paying full price for a car and getting up to $4500 for a trade-in. It's quite possible without the program they could haggle down the price several thousand dollars and get several thousand dollars for their trade-in which would equate to the same as the program but most likely more than what the program offers without any burden on the taxpayer. Problem is majority of Americans are lazy and buying a car is too much work so they want the easiest way out.

What has Obama done to affect me personally? Well, unlike most Americans I do not carry a credit card balance. Why? Because I'm smart. I leave my money in my account which earns interest for me. When the statement comes I pay the full amount owed. Amazing concept, isn't it? Unfortunately, most Americans (72%) have rotating balances on their credit cards and think it's unfair that a company, which will loan you their money without any guarantee of ever getting it back, will increase it's APR when the borrower makes a late payment. Spoiled, aren't we? So our fantabulous president passes a bill which regulates companies who gives unsecured loans. So the companies immediately increase APRs (no effect on me) and cancels all "rewards" programs to recoup the loss.
So there are two ways our president has cost me money so far and, imagine this, I'm consider middle-class!! What happened to him wanting to help the middle class? I can only imagine how bad it's truly going to get.

I agree with you. I still count myself as a Republican, but if the party continues to cater to people like these nut jobs, I guess I'll have to declare myself an independant. Its so sad, how truly conservative ideals regarding governance and fiscal responsibility get so overshadowed by the ravings of ideological lunatics.

Its one thing to attack Obama and his policies (not that hard, actually) but its another to counter these policies with real ideas and plans. If my party, the Republican party, has any hope of regaining anything akin to power in this country, its got to first stand up to this hate-filled and fear-mongering rhetoric, and then propose rational and realistic solutions to the problems faceing this nation. In this last election, in the mind of the general public, the Democrates were the idea party while the Repuiblicans were left defending the failures of the previous administration while at the same time distancing themselves from it. That is why Obama won: in the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king.

I am almost 40 and I have no pre-existing conditions.

My father came to this country from Europe, served in Korea and helped kick start the mainframe computer industry in places like Whitesands, New Mexico. My mom worked in a factory that made parachuttes, in fact her factory made the parachutte that George Bush Sr. used when he dove out of that plane in World War II. My father never saw retirement, he died at age 52 from cancer. My mom, who is 70, still volunteers at a local hospital. She is diabetic and has a history of high blood pressure. She is full of the "pre-existing" conditions that most elderly Americans have.

Thank you for throwing her to the curb, Yooperkat!

Nice! long ago I thought the only way to affect change in the country was to always, without question, vote out the incumbants, no matter what their politacal affiliation. In my ideological youth, I actually voted this way. As I got older, I got complacent. Good to see there is a movement crystalizing that thought (not complancency, mind you)

Your ability to comprehend is somewhat suspect...It was written in plain English, but you didn't understand. Most likely your inability to understand the written word would be why you voted for our fearless dictator..
No, I don't like dictatorships, that's why I'm so very against what our leader is trying to do to us... It it working with people like you believing all of his lies..
Landslided, ousted, call it what you wish, your man has no chance of being a two term president.
Yes, racist. You can't come up with anything better than picking on a typo...? That's all ya got...? No wonder you gravitated to the democrats. You fit in nicely...
