No, she's going to lose. It's like a runaway train and it can't be stopped now.
The spin is already starting about what a bad candidate she is.

The same reason more people identify with conservatism than liberalism.

Go Scott Brown!
Massachusetts is the bluest of the blue states, yet only 29% of the population describe themselves as liberal. 30% describe themselves as conservative.

Go Scott Brown!
Indies make up over HALF of registered voters.

Another poll; Might be a bit off - Brown up by 15.

Roger L. Simon » Massachusetts shocker: Brown Up 15% in Pajamas Media/CrossTarget Poll

From the Globe, who endorsed her;

Race is in a spinout - The Boston Globe

Race is in a spinout

Martha Coakley made a jaw-dropping declaration earlier this week at the only live televised debate in Boston that she has deigned to do. She said, and I quote, “I’ve traveled the state and met tremendous people.’’

If she did, it was under the cover of darkness, with an assumed name.
Her attitude of inevitability has obviously hurt her, as well as her debate performance, the scuffle with the reporter and her truly dumb remark about "standing outside Fenway, greeting people".

I say obama should go up there and campaign for the woman. If this vote is so important to him, why isn't he doing that?

AND if the dems thought she had a lock on the race, obama would be prancing over there to take credit for it.

The fact that he is not is very telling.

Quote:
"I have heard that in the last two days the bottom has fallen out of her poll numbers," says one well-connected Democratic strategist. In her own polling, Coakley is said to be around five points behind Republican Scott Brown. "If she's not six or eight ahead going into the election, all the intensity is on the other side in terms of turnout," the Democrat says. "So right now, she is destined to lose."
Obviously, the spin will be to insulate obama and his unpopular policies from this electoral defeat. Ain't going to work.

And this remark could be the one to do her in;

Quote:
Martha Coakley: (...stammering) The law says that people are allowed to have that. You can have religious freedom but you probably shouldn't work in the emergency room.
So you should be denied employment because of your religious beliefs - is that what Martha is saying?

You know there is a rumble of an earthquake, when Democrats are voting for a Tea Party Republican

People are not dumb & stupid, regardless of their party.
When it slaps you in the face, you tend to wake the hell up.

When the Boston Globe identifies a 30% plus charge, you can bet that this will be a big wake up call for those in the party of corruption and racism.

Should Brown win, and I believe he will, and convincingly, only then will the Globe acknowledge it. They're too elitist to ever entertain the thought an average guy like Scott Brown could win.

i heard coakley ran a horrible campaign, so it wouldnt surprise me if she lost.

the 2008 presidential election is proof that state voting history means nothing.

its the candidate and how they get the message across, and how the electorate sees that.

Whomever her campaign manager / management team is one thing is for sure, they'll never be hired again.
