It is a big deal. It is a HUGE deal. Not because of 1 Republican but because of where that Republican won. A state with a 3 to 1 Democrat advantage. One of the bluest of the blue states. This is the death knell for Obama. His Presidency is over effective today.

Brown wins - obama loses

Yes we knew all along Brown would win, did not need a crystal ball to know this. There was a clear strong message that is being sent to Washington, the President, the Administration, enough already, we don't want your kind of business any more. Great speech by Brown, my democratic friends called tonight, and said, after his speech, he should run for President. They are happy they live in MASS. No more bull, back to what the People want and not this thug Mob like presense in the White House.

Look at how the conservatives all blame Congress since 2006, when the Dems were in the majority, even though a Repub was president. You're damn right a senator is important!

The Dems had a year to pass that bill, they could not get the job done where is the anger at them for screwing it up?

I find it funny how people get so pissed about a state Senator being elected when they don't even live there. Makes no sense at all.
You really need to read up on how the federal government works. He will probably take Massachusetts' interests into consideration when he votes, but he will be voting for federal issues. You may find this funny, but the joke is on you if you think he has no bearing on your life.

I think that is a little dramatic. It could save his Presidency. Maybe now he would actually do what he promised. Have the health care debate in a public transparent way without the horse trading that has been the hallmark of this thing and people may get on board.
