...for restoring my faith in American voters!

Just goes to show that when you (a) actually give a s**t about your constituents, (b) care about how your constituents make a living, and (c) don't be a complete idiot in public, then people may actually vote you into office! Finally, a large enough group of voters saw past the "-R" or "-D" appendix after their name. What a concept!

Hopefully, Brown makes good on his promises.

How so? Scott Brown is a Republican, and a majority voted for him. How does that prove that people saw past the "R" or the "D" after the candidates' name?

If he had run and won as an independent, I could see how your claim would be true, but he didn't.

I am so hopeful about 2010 now. The Conservatives can begin slowly purging the GOP of RINOs and the dangerous Progressives and become the center-right party they once were, sticking to Conservative fiscal and national security principles, while having a socially moderate and a socially conservative caucuses within their party.

I had lost some faith in American voters, but when they vote 120,000 more for a GOP candidate in overwhelmingly Democrats Mass, I have reason to hope.

If you look at Brown's site, he is running pro-gun, moderate on life issues, fiscally conservative, pro-marriage, and big on National Security, and anti-illegal alien amnesty.

If he makes good on his promises, even if he becomes un-electable by the end of his term, he will have done so much to heal America in his tenure than if he shifts left and lies to his voters.

Thank you, Mass. You made me believe again. I am sorry, I am getting emotional just THINKING about it.

What does that mean, exactly? How is he "pro-marriage" and what do you expect him to do to prove it?

A large block of Independents voted for him; they had to or he wouldn't have won.

Isn't that a new phrase or whatever "pro-marriage"? Does that mean he thinks everyone should be married? I do agree with you on this one.

Hopefully this election will be a wake up call to the Dems to stop the hidden Chicago style politics.

BTW, I'm ready to vote for 1 of his daughters for President. If most Presidents do a crappy job, we might as well have one that looks so good.
