Another review, please.

You missed my point. EVERY candidate can be trusted depending on who's answering the question.
Give me post another read, if you will.

I did reread your post and I do get your point. I guess I am just not as skeptical as some. I have to believe there are honest, earnest candidates out there wanting to hold this office for at least some of the right reasons. I just don't believe Hilary is one of them.

I fell for her act in college, when she was the First Lady. She's actually a very good public speaker. I lost all respect for her, however, after the whole Monica Lewinsky scandal. She should not have stayed with a cheating husband even if it would ruin her political career. Nor would I trust anybody who would move to a state just b'c I know I'd be voted senator. I'm sure there are others who have done the same but I sure as heck wouldn't want her to be America's first female president.

I love the double standards we're seeing here where among other things it seems perfectly acceptable for a woman to stay with a drunk and forgive those trangressions but an adulterer? Uh-uh. It's hard to tell who stays and who goes, is there a program some that helps tell the players apart?

When are you going to let this go?
Burdell GWB stopped drinking when he was 40 years old, that was MORE than 20 years ago. Laura Bush did not "stay with a drunk" as you put it. He quit because he put his family first! He showed will-power and self-contol, something Mr. Clinton is sorely lacking!

ME let go? YOU are the one stuck on this issue and for no other reason than pure, partisan blather.
GWB put family first when he was given the choice between the bottle and his wife, after HOW MANY drunken escapades? Just one? I doubt it yet you continually whine about a serial adulterer, I guess a serial drunk is OK? Since you seem to know so much about the Clinton marriage I take it you speak with them often? Or do you just catch an occasional 5 minute sound bite on FAUX NEWS and fill in the blanks with your imagination?
And if this issue is SUCH a standard of judgement of trustworthiness to you I have to ask:
When you choose a doctor do you inquire as to his/her sex life and that of his/her spouse? If not how would you know they are trustworthy?
And I would ask the same of your lawyer, pastor, et al. Or is it only an issue with female, democratic, presidential candidates?

I'm not trying to start anything or anger anybody. I think it's getting kind of heated in here ... you guys make arguments for both sides and it's respectable. The way I see it is she's not staying in the marriage for love; she's staying in her marriage for politcal gain. Her goal is to be the first woman president and she wants that prestige, that title. Can I back any of this up? Nope, not at all but I think we are entitled to our opinions. Just as I can't change any of your opinions, you can't change mine either. There's just somethin' about that lady that's not kosher. Sure, other candidates I dislike as well but this thread is about the trustworthiness of Senator Clinton and I don't trust her one bit.

I think most people would concur with your assessment foma, even those who will vote for her would agree she is power hungry. . . She is definately not one to sit around and "bake cookies"
As far as love? Ha, she probably figures that he owes her big time and she will use him to help her climb to the highest office in the land.. . Scary!
