I vote on platforms, and usually it goes along one party line. My wife is one that votes the party ticket. And we do not talk politics at home since her votes usually cancel mine out.

I could NEVER vote party line. I wish I didn't have to pick a party at all.

Most of the time yes, but certainly not always especially in local elections.

It is interesting that I am often conflicted about my vote. I should have put an option there for "the lesser of two evils", because that is often how I vote.

I'm a registered Independent. I vote for the candidate, not the party line.

I really enjoyed voting for Scott Brown for senator. I really like everything he is about. I like his background and life story too.

I vote for the person not the "party".

I am a registered republican. But I have voted for Democrats. I lived in New Jersey and some times the democrat was the "Lesser of two evils"

In my state, municpal elections are non-partisan. No party labels are used. Even for the mayor of Denver.

I vote Libertarian for president, I vote for Democrats at the state and local level, (even though city elections are nonpartisan its always obvious) and Republicans for US House and Senate. Kinda all over the place, but I have my reasons.
