Appointment of first Hispanic Female Supreme Court Justice
Tobacco Regulation
which, for the first time, gave the U.S. Food & Drug Administration the authority to regulate the manufacturing, marketing, and sale of tobacco.
Stem Cell Research Bill
Credit Card Reform
Ledbetter Act

For the rest of my life I will be happy and blessed knowing this wonderful human being was President during my life time.
Young minority children will grow up with the knowledge they too can become Commander In Chief one day.. without the image of being old, gray and of a certain race.
What has now been instilled in the youth of today is a positive message: If you acquire an outstanding education, are true to your convictions and have a genuine love for people...all people, your dreams are possible.

They can now say with conviction "Yes We Can", because Yes He did.

This does not cap interest rates or fees. Smart people don't get into trouble with credit cards anyway. This is just another example of the left pandering to lower class people for votes.

This was an act of congress. Obama stepped in and signed it- 9 days after he took office....buy YAY!!!! Chaulk up another one for Barry!!!

What I always find entertaining about these types of threads (and to be fair they come from both sides but I more often see them from the left side) is that the exact same topic, with the exact same wording, spelling, bolding, grammar, etc. is that they are are posted across a wide spectrum of sites.
This is the fourth time I've seen this topic this morning: on two sites dealing with hunting/shooting sports and a regional one. Always makes me wonder if there's some sort of direction coming from somewhere saying "This is today's topic". Especially since on the hunting/shooting sites the author posts only in the "Politics" forum and nowhere else.

Just an observation.

Americans have lost much of the creativity of the past generations, and have become lazy from the top of the gene pool to the bottom. Technology has made Americans dumb. And many are proud of it.

Look at it this way, some of us worship our God or whatever you believe in, other worship a man who has many fooled.

I love some of your referances: CC reform, yep, he did that, giving the banks months to raise the rates. We have a couple of cards (luckily we do pay more of our cards off monthly) that went from 7.9% to 24.5% interest. Well, we did have them.

Health care: the wine girl mentions health care, sure he got the disaster passed, but he isn't the first to have tried. If I am not mistaken, this was Hillary and Bill's baby to start with. There wer just enough in congress with a brain to halt it.

Our wine lady has mentioned before how much she detested Reagan, he was the first Pres to appoint a female, does she give credit to Reagan for that?

You and some others, know how to use your brain and not follow you almighty leader who as you mentioned, is 1/2 black..


If I remember, back when he first decided to run some blacks were telling the country they couldn't support him because he really wasn't truely black.
