This is what you wrote:

Compared to the lockstep of the other party ALL OF THE TIME, they at least can think.

I responded with Scott Brown, and you replied with the quote above, completely making my point, refuting your own.

I dont really understand your question. What do you think Democrats are?
My question is, if he is diametrically opposed to virtually everything Obama and the dems stand for, and was vocal about it during his campaign, what exactly makes him a democrat? He sounds like a Tea Party conservative.

However, Critz is NOT "diametrically opposed to virtually everything Obama and the dems stand for".

Okay, well I'm only stating the things that he made a part of his campaign. He ran on a platform against all of the issues that I mentioned; all of which are in complete and direction to Obama and the vast majority of dems. He's basically a Tea Party Democrat. I can live with that.

How many tea party conservatives have come out in favor of closing tax loopholes that give companies tax cuts for sending jobs overseas?? How many tea party conservatives have come out against tax cuts for the wealthy?

Obama doesn't answer for the western PA constituency, and some of you need to do a little research about politics in that area. That much is very clear.

I think some folks are projecting their own black-and-white, lock-step, partisan hack, with-us-or-against-us, world-view onto others. Golly, I wonder why that could be?

Did Mark Critz win Murtha's seat by campaigning against Obama?
Oh you bet he did. Also told him to stay away. obama is very unpopular there and so are his policies.

Dems, up to their old tricks of fooling voters into believing they are not dems.

Yeah, we had some of that in the gubernatorial race here in Washington state in 2008...only from the other side:

Rossi not exactly on ballot as Republican
