I think his chances for re-election are very good. The number of people who are dependent on his government is increasing, and they are voting in larger numbers. The parasites are about to outnumber the producers, and they totally support the Obama socialist agenda. Only tax payers are opposed to big government. Parasites love big government.

Also, the parasites tend to blame big business for all of their problems. So they love Obama's constant hammering and disparaging of big business (and ignore his bailout of his big business buddies).

I'm not sure where you are getting your employment and stock market data.

Unemployment is certainly not "trending downward". It's gone from about 7.5% to 9.9% under Obama's watch. And it's staying pretty steady at just under 10%. Obama called that good news.

And the stock market? "trending upwards?" It's lower now than it was 10 years ago. And down 1000 points in the past month or so. And many think the worst is yet to come with pending increases in housing foreclosures, increasing bank failures, and pending new legislation that will drive financial investments out of this country.

Many believe he is the clear cut winner for the next election, and many also believe he is a one term president.

What are your thoughts on this?

Criteria to help you explain why you say this;

- His foreign policy (if any)
- His approval rating (current)
- His belief on certain subjects
- His future opponent (assumption)
- His take on legislation (bills, taxes, etc..)
It depends who the Republicans run against him and whether they are able to articulate why President Obama being a socialist with a socialist agenda doesn't make them a racist for opposing him and his radical ideology.

You need to come up for some fresh air and read a poll or two. Obama has a 50% approval rating. I'm sure everyone around YOU feels the same way about Obama....but that has nothing to do with the price of beans in China....LOL

Maybe I misused the word "trending" as it relates to unemployment but it's certainly down from the high of 10.1%. I do think that you can say that the stock market is steadily climbing since it it fell under 7k in early 2009. At this point, its just over 10k. I'm not comparing either to where they were 10 years ago but in recent history starting with Bush's last several months in office and Obama's to this point. Obviously, unemployment has continued to go upwards since Obama was sworn in but I would argue that it would happen to anybody that would have taken office. I guess the point of my post was that if unemployment is down and markets are up from where they were when he started, I think he has a chance.

You may not agree with his policy decisions but incompetent, I would argue the exact opposite. He's accomplished more in two years than most do in four. Corrput, any proof?

Wont happen. If Romney won the Pub nomination he'd have to explain why he pretended to be against healthcare when it was basically the same bill he pushed in Mass. Anyway, the Pubs have sadly gone the way of the teaparty and will surely push a Huckabee, Gingrich, Palin type extremist who will send the independents sprinting to Obama. Pubs went half-way extreme when they picked Palin for VP, next time they'll go all out.
