If given the choice to either have a TV only, or a computer with Internet connection only, which would you choose and why?

Internet.

I use my cable TV quite a bit, but with hulu, nexflix "on demand", etc ... I could get by without it. Using the internet for communicating, research, etc, is much more useful than TV.

Now, if having the internet at work was included in the equation, my answer would be: TV at home, internet at work.

I choose TV.
I can actually live without a computer.
It makes it a little more difficult to follow north american minor league hockey, but besides that I don't really need a computer.

The computer.

Because nowadays, there's nothing but garbage on the T.V. and I hardly ever watch T.V. nowadays, at least in the last year now. I'm so sick of these "reality" shows that are on with people with caked on makeup every minute of the show, slutty/moronic personalities these days, and other such garbage on T.V. now. The only thing now I like on T.V. is the news and Dog, the Bounty Hunter. Pretty much they are the only 2 things I watch now.
