Have any of you seen those 'Red Bull' commercails? Ive seen two, of the animated ones, which both are stupid, and one seriously should be pulled off the air. The 2nd one, which rather than going into detail, shows some antimated 'businessman' with wings, flying up above some bird. As and he's 'flying'...he starts to unzip his pants, where the bird happens to turn around and look up, and yelps with that shocked expression.
Now what the HECK is the point to that commercial?? Kids watch this kind of thing!

It is for shock value, and brand recognition. Red Bull's marketing budget is scandalous.

I personally like the Sisyphus one. Maybe because I identify with it

As far as kids watch this kind of thing - how much worse are the RB commecials than the ones for male enhancement, or my all-time worst - the milk commercial where the man tries to lift a wheelbarrow and his arms break off while two children watch from a window?

The ad you talk about is called Pidgeon. Red Bull TV ads are considered to be among the best in the world (well, the most effective and recognizable). Don't think they are offensive - subjective stuff, I know - if they are inappropriate, they should be aired in adult time.

Actually I'm in advertising business and do all dubbing for Red Bull commercials in Eastern Europe... Some are dumb, some really really good, just my opinion.

Apparently you did NOT watch the Red Bull 1 min. ad from the beginning. It shows the bird doing a big sloppy poop right on the man's shoulder. As "just rewards & revenge", the guy drinks the super-caffeinated zippy drink, then takes out his Payback on the bird. So whats NOT to understand? He's just getting him back for every one of us that just washed the car, parked under a tree, and some big bird decides to use it as a toilet (after eating a bunch of mulberries)....getting this bird back for every one that has perched in our eaves and clogged up the rain gutters, etc.

"Energy Drinks"....reminds me of today I was in the local CVS Pharmacy and watched at a young soccer mom, goes directly to the fridge door and grabs a can of this stuff; all the while she is lecturing little Suzie about "no, you cant get a candy bar, tonite is Halloween and that's plenty."

I just thought it was ironic (if, indeed, appropriate in truth)...the kid doesn't need added sugars; but does MOMMY NEED THAT CAFFEINE SUPER HIGH?

Dont you remeber the ad Dow Chemical plants used to have as their motto in the sixties...

I agree that they are usually aired during late (after 9p.m.) viewing times. You know what I think is way more offensive, biased and prejudiced? Watch the commercials shown during cartoon time (after school or on Sat. morns) The little blonde princess types playing with her little Vanity, putting on lip gloss, going their hairdo dyes; My Pretty Pony. Then the ones for the boys? Kill them all G.I.Joe, run the race car off the track, here lets crash these radio-controlled bikes, etc.

So Sex-Biased and keeping little "girls in their place" just sit there look vacantly cute, braid hair on your girlfriends and your pony, then you can cook in your Easy-Bake Oven for the man of your dreams!
Eeewww....
