It's much more complicated than that if you're getting your shows through a cable box, or for Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. if I want to turn CC off or on, I always have to google it because I can't remember all the steps. I wish my CC button was all I needed!

And as others have said, yes I use CC, for the British accents on Downton Abbey, and for dialogue in general which is frequently overpowered by the show's music and other background sounds.
