I just often wonder who is really interested in this crap to begin with. Unfortunately there are enough mindless people that do

The answer is: You shouldn't care. Now the new question is: Will you continue to allow 'them' to dictate to you what you must see and consider? What choices and actions have you taken?

I do not care who is doing what when but I am not star struck nor am I envious, jealous or living vicariously through someone I have no clue who they are. I do not watch television and haven't for many years, I rarely read all of the news and when I read a magazine or a book they are real magazines and real books. Magazines are generally about food, decluttering, wood working and quilting. Books are whatever catches my interest at that moment and I read cookbooks like it is a regular book. I'm not usually good with movies either, I tend to not be able to sit still long enough to actually see the entire movie.

Actually I'm glad that you ask, I only watch movies that I buy or see on Netflixs after throughly researching their content and I rarely watch the news (U.S) on television because I can't stand the commercials. Most of the time that I use more 50 inch television is spent playing video games. The majority of my time is spent with my family or listening to a good audiobook.

I'm usually too busy to care about celebrities having babies, how they look in swimsuits, etc.

I'm pretty good friends to a couple of professional atheletes, a world reknown jazzist and a sucessful rapper and I don't dwell into their business unless they want me to know, so I really can give a turtle fart about someone I don't even care about and don't know.

As long as people glorify women who have absolutely no talent except for bed-hopping, who are pregnant by a new guy when not divorced from the previous one, to whom she was married for about 17 minutes, (and is the baby his, perchance?), and as long as the family of the same Bimbo continues to be as outrageous as is humanly possible so as to stay on the air and pollute the atmosphere even further, the public will continue to be governed by people with only their own interests at the forefront and we will sit by while our workers are forced to "sequester" unpaid days off and OFL swans around Africa with his family - because what the Rich and Infamous are up to is more important than our own futures.

Whew! Is that a run-on sentence, or what?

I certainly don't care. Plenty of others, though, do care and that accounts for the neverending publicity. IMO, the worst is when I see "men" thumbing through People a the grocery checkout. Really, guys?

I once heard an actress say that "no publicity means that no one cares and you will soon be forgotten" maybe that is the mantra that Kanye, the Kardashians, Rhinna, Jay Z and others believe in.
