It was used from 1985-1994. I seem to think it is more towards the '80s side.

The reason that I am wondering is because this logo was still used when Gangsta Rap, '90s-style Euro-dance, and Grunge were huge.

Yeah, I could absolutely agree that the logo was more '80s since that was one of the logo's quintessential slogans for advertising.

Since it was designed in the 80's...

Well after a night of partying & listening or dancing to "Gangsta Rap, '90s-style Euro-dance, and Grunge music" where did you want to go to eat? Taco Bell!

That logo looks better than the purple logo today. That logo looks more Mexican, the purple logo today looks more American.

I love this red and yellow logo. It's the one I grew up with. I loved the older taco bells that maintained the bell hole with the bell in it.

IDK, it looks more like a Church bell or Liberty Bell. I never really noticed or gave a damn about Taco Bell, until the other Logo. I think this was, when they first started up before the take over. Taco Bell was a fun treat for kids, and that is about it. I actually forgot about them for a long long long long time.

That is more 1970's or an start up business icon/logo. Nothing too glamorous. I could see the Mexican Sun, and even picture the men in their sombrero's. You can even see the horizon in that picture. Like the.......Foldgers, coffee??? I remember that was a big thing back then. The other logo, looks more like a party place, or place to have fun. Looks like the same colors on a bag of DORITOS, or FRITOS ( I forget which one ).

I miss the 1990's. It felt good to be stupid. Seriously the GONNNGG or DOONNGGG is what comes to mind, asides this scene.

Now All Restaurants are Taco Bell.flv - YouTube

That is how popular Taco Bell was back then. I wish it was true like that, but seriously......Valley of the Jolly Green Giant
