Wow! Thanks for the link. Again, I feel like I understand what he is saying. Which, scary thought, means I almost understand quantum theory. Oh my!

Well, I did my job. I led him into becoming an adult.
Lmao I have had both of mine just break it down for me....
Then we get into some serious pondering about time travel, quantum physics, parallel universes....
It's pretty cool when your own kids are so advanced that you realize a lot of
other people just can't even hold a decent conversation about ordinary things, let alone quantum theories
Pat yourself on the back, lol

I hate TED talks. With very few exceptions, it's shallowness masquerading as depth. It's more Barnum & Bailey than any real tech, entertainment, or design. It's an intellectual Happy Meal.

Because of the short length, it's more like an intellectual snack. They know this. There is the expectation that the viewer will take the initiative to investigate more on their own. Yes, a lot of it is to promote a book or other personal agendas.

This is the only TEDx Talk I found with my man E.C. but there are lot of his lectures on Youtube and he lectures at a lot of our bar association events. I just find him to be so interesting and thought provoking, and he's a very nice person to boot!
