I just bought a Roku and have been spending some time perusing the TED talks. There seem to be hundreds! Which TED talks are your favorites, and why?

Hundreds? There are thousands and thousands of them. Which makes it impossible to name favorites, especially having seen such a small percentage of them.

Have you seen Jill Bolte Taylor's talk? It's fascinating. She suffered a stroke, and did both a TED talk and wrote a book on her insights on how the brain works during her recovery. Highly recommend!

Perhaps had your original post indicated what kinds of subjects you were interested in, I, or others might have some recommendations. But to suggest a few among the thousands and thousands to someone I know nothing about simply isn't reasonable.

Thanks so much for the recommendations Candy and believe007. Candy, I watched the Jill Bolte Taylor talk last night. Amazing!
Believe, I agree with you - Tony Robbins is so inspiring. He's on my list next.

Of the few I've seen, I liked Neil Ferguson's The 6 Killer Apps of Prosperity talk the best, with the Tony Robbins one 2nd.
