Darth Vader: Star Wars - By Star Wars, I mean the first film, before it was renamed and before the subsequent films began to change the character's identity. The simple black-masked menace, with the deep voice and the labored breathing and the terrible power of the force, along with the understated way in which he acted even in anger, made for the quintessentially perfect villian.

Dexter: Dexter - The character of a self-aware, introspective sociopath was an astonishingly brilliant fictional device.

Judge Holden: Blood Meridian - The bald, philosophical rennaisance man and embodiment of evil, ruminating on the nature of war is one of the most fascinating literary characters I've ever discovered.

Owen Meany: A Prayer For Owen Meany - WHO CAN NOT LOVE OWEN MEANY?

The Man With No Name/Joe/Manco/Blondie: The Dollars Trilogy - Clint Eastwood doesn't have great acting range, but he plays the slow-burning taciturn anti-hero with exceptional ease, and in this role he perfected it.

Walter White: Breaking Bad - His long progression from the good guy with good motives (despite very flawed acts in that regard) to the bad guy was the centerpiece of an exceptional story arc.
