"50 shades of grey" is this new book that is selling like hot-cakes from my understanding about the idea of the subbmissive wife via the dominant male.

Both media basically have the same message or same idea in mind,

In my opinion I think the because women feel they are smarter for reading. Chances are they do not realize they are reading an novel that is basically a typical trashy romance book. However many women did not originally have that view of the book to begin with. Even men are reading it from what I hear??

I mean seriously, people look at Secretary and think "hey it is a stupid movie" but omgsh a "book".

Never heard of it. But reading the plot it's also BDSM so what's the difference? I myself was surprised why 50 shades was successful and to think the author was a twilight fanfic writer!!!

I totally agree- it's just trashy soft core porn.
Holds no appeal for me & if I ever encountered
someone who admitted to reading it I'd be highly amused.
