I'm basing this on "Would I go see this movie strictly because this actor is in it." Here goes:

1. Christian Bale. He was brings an intensity and commitment to everything he does. From American Psycho to The Mechanic and The Fighter. American Hustle. The Big Short. And he is still the Best .Batman.Ever.

2. Brad Pitt, for the same reasons. He picks great stories and then surprises me with his nuance.

3. Meryl Streep. I don't really have to explain this, do I?

4. Tilda Swinton. I've been fascinated with her since "Orlando." Unbelievably gifted and mesmerizing. She can play bizarre/avant garde (Snow Piercer); seriously straight dramatic roles (We Need to talk about Kevin; Michael Clayton); delightfully rich characters (all of her Wes Anderson roles); and even airy comedic and glamorous - I seriously didn't recognize her in "Trainwreck" until the closing credits. Incredible range and talent.
