My choice is Robert Duvall. He is a natural for movie westerns (Broken Trail, Open Range, Geronimo, TV miniseries Lonesome Dove) My favorite movies regarding him are the ones made in the last several years--"Get Low" and "The Judge".

Honestly, he's insanely talented-

I also love his voice.....
And he's cute
I don't think he gets enough credit

Cary Grant
or Patrick Swayze.

Hard to pick.

Actress: Lucille Ball.

I don't feel most actors these days have the talent and the "do everything" (sing, dance, comedy, drama, etc) as they used to. Also, actors now aRe so generic looking, it's hard to tell them apart.

Btw, I am not that old. I just watch stuff from many eras.

I could make a list that would include Streep and Hanks and Bates, but the op asked for ONE.
