Two months ahead of the grand opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood, one of the rides, which takes participants on a 3D broom ride through Hogwarts Castle and other key sites, got a little too real.
When employees of the theme park tested the ride, many became physically sick, felt nauseous and vomited, TMZ and a number of outlets reported Sunday.
I was nervous to ride it at Universal because I am terrified of getting sick, but I was fine and my friend was too. We both agreed that it did kinda mess with you. I wouldn't suggest riding it if you are prone to motion sickness. It's a cool ride if you can tolerate those kinda rides. We waited an hour in line at least, people love it.
Even if you don't want to ride, you can still walk through and tour the castle. That alone is pretty neat if you're a fan

The article is referring to the new ride in California. Which is apparently worse than the one in Florida.

I'm well aware of what the article was about. It's still the "same" ride. I was just stating my experience with the one in Orlando. If you look at reviews for the ride many people state you shouldn't ride if you get motion sick or dizzy easily.

No, it's not the same ride.

The attraction is a near-replica of the one in Universal Orlando, save for one important feature: the Hollywood ride is in 3D.
