In other words some people are suggesting that we punish others for saying what they have every right to say? Would you suggest that we suspend the 1st amendment?

Why would they do that? Many people agree with him. The younger people are making this a nation of wusses. Too worried about offending someone.

Clint Eastwood and other big wheels that have come out as republican or conservative are Hollywood.

Beside, who would be the "Hollywood" people that would denounce Clint Eastwood and jeopardize there careers.

Whether you agree with Mr. Eastwood's remarks or not, you must realize that this is not a freedom of speech issue. The First Amendment applies only to governmental actions regarding speech, not private industry. Indeed, some of you may awake in the morning to find your comments deleted for not following the rules of this subforum. And we all may awaken to find the thread has been closed for the same reason.
