So when you walked into a Blockbuster, did you expect to see coverboxes of only a few movies that you would watch? How could you possibly be offended seeing movie titles of movies that you won't watch?

Netflix has over 8000 titles just counting the ones available for streaming - including DVDs, they have over 100,000 options. You're going to spend a week or two deleting the tens of thousands you'll never watch? Uh... why?

You know, I go into a large supermarket and 99.9% of the products I will never buy. But I don't have a tantrum over the fact that they're on the shelves. Nor do I find it hard to only select the ones I want.

Even the ones with really scary Spanish words in the labels!

Once you start watching movies, and adding others to your queue, Netflix will start figuring out what you like. So the other movies will eventually disappear.

Yeah in Taste Preferences you can say you never watch entire categories of films.

The true story of Selena Quintanilla-Perez, a Texas-born Tejano singer who rose from cult status to performing at the Astrodome, as well as having chart topping albums on the Latin music charts.

This is moronic.

My home dvd collection is titles that I chose to buy.

Netflix should allow individuals to delete titles that they don't want and will NEVER watch.

I think you completely missed the analogy.

But Netflix does allow you to maintain a library of only films that you will watch and nothing else. That is your queue.

What about "library of titles for all to view" vs "titles that you put into your personal queue" are you not understanding? It's a basic concept. Your rant is completely illogical.

This is your solution, OP. Learn how to use Netflix. It's like Amazon: the more information you give the system to work with, and the longer you use it, the smarter the site gets and the more movies and TV shows you'll enjoy watching will show up on the main page after you log in. (The main page is NOT your profile, it just features selections from the larger Netflix library.)
