What to use instead of Spotify? Any alternatives? Anything similar?

Free? Pandora, Last.FM uhh never mind, here is a list of sites and they should all have apps for portable devices.

The 15 Best Sites for Free Streaming Music

As far as paid, I would look no further than Amazon Unlimited. They are supposed to have "Tens of Millions" of songs.

I did. I listened to pretty much all heavy metal, and then a random pop/hip-hop/rap song would show up in my feed.

Default Alternatives to Spotify

Well, I love Spotify, and I would say there are no other similar sites. Spotify has censored their music, but so has everyone else, incl YT. They give too many suggestions. I don't like that. I don't need music suggestions. I am very knowledgeable in this area, of my tastes in music.
I only know of Beats by Dr. Dre(that got gobbled up by Apple), Sound Cloud, Amazon.

I never used Spotify but I like Google Music. I did use Amazon Unlimited for a while but didn't like the interface. I went back to Google Music. You also get Youtube Red with your membership to Google Music.

Sorry I haven't found anything comparable to spotify. I've heard good things about the Amazon radio but I haven't personally tried it.
