If Roman Polansky can come back after rapeing a 13 year old, scumbag Weinstein will be back if he lives long enough

He probably is already back and behind the scenes orchestrating his next project. Of course, it won't feature his name attached to it. But he will continue on as usual.

The only way he could be back in the business is to be anonymous/use fake names like the blacklisted members did.
He could secretly finance projects but I don't think he could stand to be anonymous if the film was successful.

Dunno. When did he excuse himself from the table of life?

So glad that Spacey will be back. Great actor !

Some folks simply are better off not believing some of these heresay allegations.

Mod Note: Please do not report this thread anymore asking me to move this to Celebrities. Harvey Weinstein is no Celebrity. He doesn't deserve to be among the real celebrities.

He had one case that may or may not have been an attempted money grab and was not prosecuted. Harvey has had dozens of cases and surely will be prosecuted for some of the allegations.

Mel Gibson has blown up his career and hasn't gotten back to even 5% of what it was prior to his crazy outbursts.

I'd say at age 65 Harvey is done......even letting a decade go by to settle the cases, let the public forget he would be 75 and too old to stage a comeback. He will be seen as an old creepy guy.

The two hardly compare. I'm not going to condone adultery, which is what his issue amounted to, but this is the difference between someone's personal transgressions and a lifetime of abhorrent behavior and abuse of power. Kobe is/was rich, and likely had quite the entitled attitude, but he didn't have the juice to make or break the life and career of the woman.

It was more like the "matress girl" case than what Weinstein stands accused of.

Hmmm, probably most comparable to the comedian Aziz Ansari. (forgive my spelling)

The first part is why women are scared to death to come forward when raped. The cases are the same. The numbers are obviously different but if Kobe can come back and get applauded in that atmosphere then anyone can. Money can buy virtually anything. Polanski is another fine example.

Kobe not only had the juice to make that women's life hell, he had the lawyers. And they did a fine job of making her the villain and Kobe the 'victim'.
