If you are a person who will watch a TV series or movie more than once, how long does it take between viewing for you to forget enough of the DETAILS of the show to make it entertaining again?
Yep, I concur with hertfordshire. I can rewatch a series even if I remember every scene, every line, if the series is a good one. (That said, however, my memory tends to be about on par with a golfish's these days. So if I have forgotten a lot, well, all the better when I watch it again.)

FOREVER.
That was one of the things my parents bugged me about when I was growing up. How was it that I could remember TV shows perfectly but not my homework?
The thing is that my mind is perfect for containing case histories, whether it is dossiers, shipboard fires, or TV shows.
Maybe twice a year, and those things don't even matter. If the series is good, to me I can watch it anytime. But I'm more into good standalone episodes. I might only watch like half of an early season or two. Some episodes are just not interesting. I'm thinking of shows like Happy Days, Star Trek, the Waltons. Even though I haven't seen a lot of these in years.
If a TV show cannot be watched again and again, it's garbage. Entertaining maybe. But that's the true test of a good TV show.
