Dave Chappell
Richard Pryor
George Carlin
Ron White

That’s about it. For some reason, most comedians bore me.

Default No particular order, few more than 10

Red Skelton (not known as a stand up comedian, my sides hurt so bad from laughing after seeing him in Vegas)

Don Rickles (brutal, but always ended his shows with apologies and a bottle of campaign to all he picked on)

Bob Hope

Alan King

Buddy Hackett

Groucho Marx

George Carlin

Richard Prior

I hate to say it, Bill Cosby. Loved his stand up, didn't like his TV show and hate him now for being a perv!

Phyllis Diller

Tody Fields

Nipsy Russell

Moms Mabley

I feel lucky that I saw most of them. (BTW, when we saw Jerry Lewis, he was awful)

Strange list. I like some of those people. But I've never heard Alan King say even one thing that was remotely funny. In fact, I remember people would refer to him as that comedian that's not funny if someone wasn't sure who you were talking about, and they would know right away.

There's no way I can limit it to 10, but I just thought I'd mention this guy. He is so clever:

Ismo Leikola

If you haven't seen him, I'd say he's in the vein of comedians like Mitch Hedberg and Demetri Martin (two more greats) as far as playing with language. And he's Finnish, so he does a lot of stuff about trying to understand the idiosyncrasies of the English language. Really funny. Great low-key delivery.

Have to give mention to a few favorite stand-up comedy teams:

Allen & Rossi

Skiles & Henderson

Stiller & Meira

Add Wanda Sikes to that list and I'm all in. Red Foxx was pretty good too.

We saw him twice. Once in Atlantic City and once in Vegas. I'm telling you, I was gasping for air I was laughing so hard. My ribs hurt for days

He was funny!!!!!!

I was going to list Red Foxx and forgot. I have to admit that Wanda Sikes is funny, but I don't find her funny enough to make my list.
