It's a prime example of someone abusing their celebrity.
Gee there's a first in Hollywood.

:vomit:

I used to like him a lot, but at least in terms of stand up, I'll now add Robin Williams. Just saw his most recent "show" (HBO I think) - had its moments but mostly yikes. His time for doing stand-up appears to be gone.

I'd say Tim Allen. I don't hate the man, but I can't say I like him either. I don't think I've ever laughed from something he said.

George Carlin is probably the best comedian I've heard.

Ralphie May is another one who annoys me. Not funny at all.

His early stuff was great, but yeah I think his funny days are long over.

In order:

1. Ellen
2. Margaret Cho
3. Carlos Mencia
4. George Lopez
5. Whoopi Goldberg (her being a bigot makes it hard to see what little humor there is in her)
6. David Letterman (throw Paul Shaffer in there with him)

These 5 have pretty much no humor at all. I tried to like Woody Allen and I'd say he's vastly overrated. Out of his 1000 movies you can find maybe 10 funny parts. David Spade is horrible in stand up. One of my favorites is Dana Carvey, so I was hoping David Spade would be a suitable replacement. The only thing he has in common is that he is blonde and skinny.

Dane Cook, I liked him in Employee of the Month, But his comedy acts are dreadfully unfunny.

Chris Rock. He has become so foul-mouthed in his concerts that he makes George Carlin look like Snow White. You can't get any dirtier than Chris Rock. How can you take your girl friend to his show? His audience is mostly blacks and that doesn't make them look too classy.

His problem is he only has a 10th grade education. He has done clean humor early in his career. Now he has just sold out for the money.
