I just don't get Dane Cook's appeal. Other than his looks that is. I was watching tv one night and came across his performance. Very stale and unfunny. I figure his jokes are for people who have very little sense of humor. The type that if they were to listen to Eddie Murphy back in his Raw era would have a stroke.

I HATE Ray Romano too. I didn't even know he did stand up, I hate his character on the show, a true clueless macho jerk. I feel sorry for the women married to men like him in real life.

I'm surprised so many people don't like Trailer Trash Larry, he seems to be pretty popular elsewhere.

I have a soft spot for Margaret Cho, and her quips about being a gay man in a straight woman's body. You have a fan in me Ms Cho!

I HATE robin williams and dane cook. I love Jim gaffigan. One of the most funny and profound lines I've heard was " If a man could f*** a women in a cardboard box, we would never buy houses." Geuss who said that line.

Emo Philips. I don't understand how anyone could dislike him though. He's one of the best when it comes to one-liners.

I don't get why everyone thinks Stephen Colbert is so funny. Some of my personal favorites are Kathleen Madigan, Judy Gold, Bobby Lee, Kevin Hart, Frank Caliendo (his Bush impersonations kill me), and Joel McHale. -mmccul

I've never even heard of any of those people. Dane Cook either.

Capt. you hit the nail on the head. The older ones were the funny ones. Why can't most of the so called comedians today watch their old routines and learn from them? Jim Carrey lost me with all those facial "seizures" I call them. Saw him where he acted normal and he was good. But 99.9% of his stuff is wasted material.
I just got an email with George Gobel, Dean Martin, and Bob Hope on Johnny Carson. It was hilarious!

Steve Martin.

Chevy Chase.

Sad, because they used to be my favs. Reason I list them here is because they won't retire, aka, go away. They've lost it. They should rest on their laurels.

Will have to agree with; Kathy Griffin (something happened to her recently. She got old fast), Frank Caliendo (once for John Madden was enough), Larry the Cableguy... either needs to reinvent himself or retire.

Adam Sandler! Zoohan was horrible.

Andrew Dice Clay; I can understand why women hate him. But back in his day, he made me laugh my gizzards off.

I can't stand Carlos Mencia, and Steven Colbert is much too over the top for his genre, John Stewart is much funnier.
