More PC crap. I don't see a need for a black Bond just to appease the PC crowd. The race card is getting played way too often. Tell you what, when Hollywood starts portraying terrorists in movies as Arabs and not South African's, North Korean's or militant whites I guess I'll get on board with the black Bond nonsense.
White, black, red, green....they've truly ruined the Bond franchise anyway. Quantum Of Solace (the most recent Bond movie) was terrible; possibly the worst Bond movie ever made. Daniel Craig is not a good bond....he doesn't have the wit, the class or the charisma to carry these movies, so hopefully this is the last one they'll do with him.
A black James Bond? Why not? All I really want is a GOOD James Bond, because no one has come close to Sean Connery or Roger Moore.
Looks like he is clearly already interested in the role. I honestly dont think it would even matter one way or the other. As long as he can pull off the massive sex appeal (which he clearly can) and do the action scenes I dont think it would be a big deal.

You people have no idea how perfect this guy would be as the next Bond...regardless of whether he's black or not. Not only is he a good actor, but he's suave and could carry the role well.
My prediction: Idris Elba WILL be the next Bond.
