Get a Roku TV and you have them both. You can mirror your computer to it or use a fire stick.

Yes, the TV would go. It's just a bigger screen, I can handle watching my favorite programs online on a smaller iPad or even iPhone screen, and do so now sometimes.

Seemed like a waste of time.

Internet (?) only in my dreams (I live in rural USA)

I'd keep the PC as a necessity, but I would miss the TV. I still use an antenna on the roof for my TV, and I get over 50 digital channels for free. Plenty of entertainment for only the cost of electricity. I don't watch many videos or TV shows on my computer but would if I had no choice.
