I forgot all about Thunder Road and Barroom Buddies...old enough to remember both.

One was good and the other...well, you can probably guess which was which. Clint didn't sing so much as he moaned and groaned his way through it...

(My parents didn't like Thunder Road...after all it was done by that former hop-head, dontcha know...)

This came out a bit after I was born; but I'm shocked I did not remember; since I love old films/movies etc.(like The Thin Man)

Terry Bradshaw cut a country album back in the 70's.

Rodney Dangerfield did a version of Fenniculi, Fennicula in the 80's.

The Monkees...they weren't even a real band.

Jim Nabors (Gomer Pyle) cut a few records as well.

John Travolta had a record out in the 70's too, I remember seeing him singing it on American Bandstand or one of those shows.

The night the lights went out in georgia was at first offered to cher & she turned it down. Vicki lawrence has a great voice & its one of my favorite songs. Some people tought the song was a true story just like boomer castles "judy mae".
