Some people have too much time on their hands.

It just happened to be this way for now. People out there just need to get over it and let the chips fall. The Vanity Fair list of actresses will look a lot different the next time they do this. It's not worth people getting into a lather over.

I'm not too surprised by this. As an african american woman I'm now used to not seeing my demographic represented in most of the media. I'm not too upset just beacuse my friends and I don't typically buy or read vanity fair. I think that we need more people of color to get behind the scenes at magazines and film companies in order to see a change in our representation in the media.

There are also plenty of Black/Latino publications that don't show lots of white women. I thought the whole point of the various publications is to give each woman a chance of having a magazine that addresses specific fashion/hair issues she would personally be interested in. That way you get more relevant information for the money.
