I am a guy and I would like to know comedians (of any gender) that FEMALES think are particulary funny.

I love me some Jeff Dunham, but not just because he's popular.

I don't mind the crude humor, but you have to watch it with the right person. I'm not ashamed

I actually met him about 2 years ago. Got a pic with him, too. I'd post it, but I'm morally opposed to people seeing my face.

I like Chris Rock. He is the only comedian I find funny as I usually hate comics and don't find ANYTHING funny. I have no sense of humor pretty much, but I think he is hilarious. He is the only comedian that can make me laugh. And most of what he says is true too.

Eddie Izzard. Pablo Francisco is pretty funny--I like his impressions.

Ditto on Chris Rock. He has funny material and his delivery is great.

Heh, I can't stand Chris Rock. Too angry. I prefer Dave Chapelle.

Okay, "can't stand" was too harsh. I have seen a few bits that were funny, like the one about how to avoid being beaten up by cops. But most of the other stuff I've seen is too angry for me. Maybe if I saw something that didn't give me such a bad impression of him, I'd watch him more.

I never really took to many American comedians (stand up - I like American sitcoms), don't know why. I find British/Irish stand up comedians much more funny.

I love:

Michael McIntyre
Dara O'Briain
Ross Noble
Ardal O'Hanlon

I also like:
Frankie Boyle
Andy Parsons
Russell Howard (I think he would most appeal to Americans out of the ones I've listed)
Jason Manford

The only Americans I like are some of the ones from Whose Line Is It Anyway? (which is originally a British show so it's not surprising) like Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie. I also saw Mike McShane at the Edinburgh Festivals, he was good but he wasn't my favorite from WLIIA

Josh Sneed is virtually unknown, but he's hilarious.

One I can't stand is Dane Cook; I don't understand why he's so popular. Looks?

Are we only talking about stand-up comedians? I don't watch too much stand-up comedy but my favorite out of the bunch is Dave Chapelle.

My overall favorite comedian is Mel Brooks.
