I asked one of the kids working at the "toy" booth how he can deal with it and he just said he tunes it out. I have no idea how he can do that....he just seemed checked out.

Chuckie Cheeses was always crap, they never even made real pizza, they just ordered other pizzas, let them cool, then re-microwave them.

I just took my daughter there for her birthday because I had a 32 ounce cup full of tokens someone gave me.
This Chuck E Cheese just opened last month and they didnt serve any beer to my disappointment. I still had a good time with her though.

I'm not being sarcastic. I just never knew anyone would do such a thing. I don't frequent bars so I didn't know parents did that. That's awful.
But, back to Chuck E Cheese, it's supposed to be a place FOR kids. Bars are supposed to be for adults. I still contend that places designed specifically for kids, like the Cheese, should be liquor-free (*dons her flame-retardant suit and helmet*). Especially in Milwaukee, where liquor is worshipped (my opinion) and drinking is totally out of control.

How else will the kids learn to hold their liquor?

Luckily our son is past Chuck E Cheese age. I always HATED it. We used to joke that it must be the place to go for supervised visitation. Seriously it was a rough crowd and it isn't in that bad of a location.
It is such a sensory overload place. I would have loved to have sipped on a glass of wine to have made it more bearable.

Look, if you're a parent being dragged to Chuck-E-Cheese, you need something to get through being shreiked at by an eight-foot-tall mechanical rat, along with the noise, the chaos, the really bad music, and the videos blaring at me.
Quite frankly, if they DIDN'T sell beer, most parents would rather visit the eighth circle of Hell than spend an hour at that freak show.

It's nothing new, they have always sold liquor ever since I can remember. Out here in Southern California before it was Chuck E Cheese it was called Showbiz, and they served liquor then to. I honestly don't have a big problem with it. I'm sure if they were having major problems they would have stopped years ago.

Well if you want to nit pick they dont serve Liquor they only serve beer. If they were selling shots of Jack and Smirnoff I would say okay they shouldn't do that. Beer is something else I feel, I mean 1-2 beers wont get a lot of people wasted, especially if you eat their cardboard I mean Pizza they have there.
