Wow, that is strange. When I posted Robin Williams I thought the title of the thread was the funniest...NOT the unfunny!!!

I say Kat Williams. Just foul language and inappropriate stuff, not funny at all.

Monty Python. I know, it's really an ensemble and not one comedian, I recently rewatched some flying circus shows and can't believe I ever thought they were funny.
Sacha Baron Cohen aka Borat. Not funny, just meanspirited set ups.

I hear you. Me either. That's the kind of thing that's so out there that when it hits it's great, but when it misses it's horrible. Also it's a Brit vs American humour thing.
Back to the topic:
Have I already mentioned Will Farrell?

Don't like:
Bill Maher
Lisa Lampsomethingorother (she does all of the roasts)
Lewis Black
Is David Letterman still a comedian? If yes, add him, too.
Chris Rock (maybe not unfunny but he's too loud, stop yelling, Chris!)
Sarah Silverman
I like all of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour comedians (Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White) when they do stand-up. I also like Jeff Dunham and John Pinette, who I think is really hilarious and wish I saw him on TV more often. I think Kathy Griffin is funny when she talks about personal experiences with other celebrities. I think she's not funny when she talks about everything/everyone else and I don't like her Bravo reality show. I suppose I can't include anything South Park related as clever comedy I really like, especially when they rail against hypocrisy. It's the only TV show where I have all of the DVDs from every season.
I generally don't like the comedy movie genre so it wouldn't be fair for me to judge comedic actors. For example, I've never seen a Wil Ferrell movie. Is he good/bad? I don't know. It's not him personally I'm avoiding, but the genre.
I haven't seen Saturday Night Live since the 80s.

I never found Conan O'Brien funny... and I can remember when he first took over for Letterman when Letterman switched to CBS (and I don't think he's funny either!) I never understood the O'Brien appeal at all.
If given a choice I'll take Jay Leno over the other late night choices - but he's retiring and in is moving Conan O'Brien..... so the choices will be O'Brien or Letterman. Anything else on at 11:35?
I think many of the local comedy night clubs have funnier new talent than some of the guys who have been around for years.

Lewis Black. Also, I have to agree with Monty Python - I never understood the humor. But my former dance partner, who is British, just loves Monty Python!

Again MP is very much a hits-you-or-not thing. You've gotta be in the mood for something EXTREMELY silly and ridiculous, to the point of absurd. Kind of a "so stupid it's funny" thing. And the movies on the whole are far better than the series FYI.

Monty Python is surreal humor. It's like Mitch Hedberg. You either like it or you don't.
