Default Anyone tired of hearing about MJ yet?

RIP, MJ. No offense, but a week and half of nonstop coverage over one celebrity out of the dozen or so that have passed lately is a bit much.

I was a fan in the Thriller days and have nothing against the guy. I understand he had some problems. Just tired of hearing about it now.

If he was so beloved why haven't we heard much positive things about him in the last decade? I have a feeling if he'd lived another 20 years we'd only hear bad things from the media. All of sudden he's a global hero?... wierd.

Anyone else?

Where were all these celebrities and the adoring media when he was on trial for ... well, you know ... If his friends and family had any respect for him, they should have kept this private. IMO, this circus is nothing more than profiting on his death. Forget the "fans". I personally don't know a sole that wants to attend a funeral or hang out at a makeshift memorial for someone they have never met before, celebrity or not. I respect MJ for his contributions to music - but that is IT.

I just don't get celebrity worship at all!

I couldn't agree more.
Enough is enough.
The news hasn't mentioned much about Farrah Fawcett or the other's passings. Pretty sad. It's all and only about Michael Jackson.

He was a great singer and dancer, but he was also a very weird person and pervert. For some reason the liberal, left-wing population really admires people like that.
