Any kind of show....reality, sitcom, drama, talk show, etc.
Honey, if I had a great idea for a show and wanted it produced, somehow I don't think I'd post it on the internet................

exSifting is on a distinguished road
Never pitch an Idea, but it's ok to pitch a Story, if you've written it already. In this great country, the moment you write something it is copyrighted, and even then, if you have an idea really worth pitching you'd have already been overflowing with texts already. But if the world wants a free idea to turn over in its head, how about this: You have a country founded by men of questionable integrity, who build an economy that stimulates the dichotomy of greed and a selfish need to exploit the seeds laid down passively by honesty. The concepts of freedom and equality combine with this new form of society wrapped around an idea called "Capitolism" which was totally a sin to begin with. But it was so exciting that for once man could strive to expand on his own without having to worry about nobility of birth or any other such absurdities passed around during that time.

So what do we get? A rich nation economically driven, a slave trade that we won't mention, and the destruction of hemp so that cotton and trees wouldn't have enemies. Then something happens, we are slammed with recession, because greedy men had overinflated the market. But things are turned around by some evil so profound that it takes our island being bombed to get us into action to end his opression. And then, no more recession, we find ourselves dealing with HYPER inflation, and a nation with the strongest middle class ever known to man. But that's not the end. It was all a vast facade pulled like wool cloth over the eyes of our parents, so that we would learn to live beyond our means, so that when I finally got out of the navy I would be suffering from an economy so devastated and blinded by past things that it can't see the need to move past MONEY, and try something that might at first sound funny, but in the end might help our society to expand in the direction we need to, so that we don't have to deal with old men in a capital who only care about the wallets not going bare. Unfortunately, all that greed bread a generation so apathetic that we are going to watch you ****ers destroy the planet and hope that some day (maybe 2012 since it's not that far away) we'll all be saved by hordes of zombies. And then maybe I'll be happy, trying desperately to survive instead of having to figure out how to avoid the boredom that's growing inside.

I call this screenplay: America

Variety.

The host of the show comes on and gives a run down of the guests that he/she is going to have on the show that evening.

Usually there are two or three singers, a couple of dancers, a comedian (or maybe two), and then some novelty acts like a ventriloquist, maybe a juggler, or a guy that rides a unicycle while he is spinning plates.

Then the host comes on and thanks the audience and tells them what will be on the show next week.

Kinda like Ed Sullivan, yeah - that's it.
