Our family is relocating to Eugene from Prescott, Arizona. Because there is a school that we like for our daughter in the 4J district, we are trying to move into this area. We have two well mannered dogs, but can't find any place to rent other than Boulders on the River, which is vastly different from the tidy house with a fenced yard that we'd imagined. We've looked around online at Craigslist and PadMapper. Does anyone have any additional advice on how to find a place? We're good renters who simply need a chance. Thank you.

I don't know any special tricks, but for sure it is possible. A friend of mine looked for two months and finally found a place with a fenced yard. I also have some neighbors that rent their house, and since this area does not allow fenced yards, they put a small chain-link fence space on their back deck. I guess it's so the dog can get some fresh air, but I assume the dog is in the house for most of the time.

Hi,

I sent you a direct message with the name of a property managment company that may be able to help you find a place that accepts pets. I hope it helps.
