So how is everyone enjoying the snow?

What I love is how it brings screen addicts outside for a bit!! We've been meeting some of our neighbors for the first time even though we've lived here (on this street) for over a year now...

My kids have made some new friends in the new neighborhood. Of course... today they are back inside with their new friends... playing video games! lol

There are some huge pine trees over our bedroom.... and last night I was awakened by the pffft, pffft of snow falling off the branches and landing softly onto the roof.

In my sleepy state, I was imagining squirrels in little paratrooper outfits, parachuting to the roof, 30 or 40 of them and I wondered where they'd go after they landed and why they were there and how I wanted to grab a camera and climb a ladder to photograph them... but I knew that by the time I'd get on the roof, it would be too late.. so I went back to sleep.

Sweet Dreams, indeed.

We have had ten days of it (falling) so the view is great. Love it.

Gosh the snow melted fast... but there are still so many trees down, and lots of large branches that need to be removed. Poor trees. This storm was really bad for them.

On a happier note: this is going to be an AWESOME year for waterfalls!!

My lawn needed mowing Sunday, so I mowed. But there was a little snow left, so I mowed some snow!

I've not done that before in the spring! (Or winter or whatever it is???)
