Good pictures! It gives us an idea of what it looks like over there. I know there's not a big population over there.

I visited Lake County for the first time in my life over Labor Day Weekend of '06. Part of my effort to visit every county in Oregon. Lakeview is very small. It has a wonderful downtown with magnificent older buildings. Too bad the population isn't bigger because that downtown could be INCREDIBLE. The scenery in Lake County was breathtaking. Not at all what I expected. Guess I expected it to be totally flat and barren and I saw lakes (hence the name) and mountains and forests and fields. There were some areas that seemed quite desolate, but even in that desolation there was beauty. It sure was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Valley. The evenings were SO quiet--just wonderful.
